OUR STORY

Welcome to Porotta Hut, where every flaky porotta carries the warmth of home. Founded by Shameer Basheer, the brand was born from childhood memories spent in the kitchen, inspired by Umma’s authentic recipes and love for food. After working abroad for over 12 years, Shameer returned to Kerala with a dream to turn those flavors into a place where tradition is celebrated and shared.

The journey wasn’t without challenges the pandemic tested our resilience early on. But with passion and determination, Porotta Hut was rebuilt stronger than ever. Today, we’re proud to be the first in Kerala to introduce Nool Porotta, Keema Porotta, and Bun Porotta blending heritage with innovation, and serving every dish with our freshly ground masalas and a whole lot of love.
